What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol, the open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude securely use external tools. SearchOS ships an MCP server so Claude can work with your CRM data.
Is my data safe when Claude connects?
The connection uses your own API key, scoped to your workspace only. Revoke the key in Settings at any time and access ends instantly.
Can the AI change my data?
The assistant can create records, log activity and build campaigns when you ask it to, and every action is attributed and visible on the timeline. It proposes; you stay in charge.
Do I need to be technical to set it up?
No. Settings shows a copy-paste block for Claude Desktop. Create a key, paste the block, restart Claude. Two minutes.
Does the in-app assistant cost extra?
No. Assistant usage draws from your plan's pooled AI allowance like every other AI feature.
